This course is designed to strengthen foundation-year students’ English proficiency at the A2 level. Through integrated reading, listening, and speaking tasks, students identify main ideas, key details, and essential vocabulary from short academic and everyday texts. Grammar lessons include basic common tenses, modal verbs, and comparative forms to support clearer communication. Students also plan and deliver a simple group poster presentation using basic structure and visuals. The course further develops students’ confidence in participating in classroom discussions and expressing ideas using clear, simple language.
