The therapeutic chemistry course of year 4   introduced  design and development of drug candidates to cure diseases based on the modulation of current drug targets, including proteins, nucleic acids, and other receptor-based functionalities. This course  focuses on structure-activity relationships, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of drugs.  We will :

  1. Review the basic principles that govern medicinal chemistry
  2. Explore the structure-activity principles in a variety of chemical structures
  3. Demonstrate fundamental critical thinking skills, including pattern recognition and analogous reasoning
  4. Able to recognize  of Drugs class  and theirs  used
  5. Recognize of chemical structure of principle group’s medicament
Skill Level: Beginner
